GRK’s Peter Schweizer receives prestigious STAEDLER award for outstanding PhD thesis

Dr.-Ing. Peter Schweizer, who completed his PhD within the GRK 1896 program at IMN/CENEM with distinction in 2019, has recently received a prestigious STAEDLER award together with 10 other candidates from FAU.

Since 1999, the STAEDTLER Foundation has honored young scientists from the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) for their outstanding work. The winners are nominated by their respective faculties. The STAEDTLER Foundation honors 2 outstanding PhD thesis from each faculty in all disciplines. In the past 21 years, doctoral theses from the disciplines of chemistry, medicine, philosophy, law, technology, theology and economics have received awards.
